Hello pop pickers, well today we have been mainly shopping for a car for Jamie (Picture enclosed). It has been a comical day in many ways. We started the day with a trip around the many fine automotive establishments in Newark, only to find that it is harder to find a decent cheap car in Newark, than to find that elusive needle in that massive haystack.

As it was proving to be extremely demanding looking for motors we decided to embark on a breakfast from DD's, and can I say that it made the day for me, as the two lovely young ladies behind the counter were more than pleasing to the eye lol.

After a short meanwhile, we decided to embark on the world of internet car shopping, as for one it is dryer and warmer than trudging around in the rain, and two, we decided that Jamie's budget could not stretch to the astronomical prices that were being demanded by Newark's rip off merchants, Sorry, i mean Second hand car dealers lol.

Our fortunes quickly changed as while trawling through various websites, my cousin, Mathew, logged in MSN Messenger, which is rather handy as he is a mechanic.. After a short conversation it became apparent that Mathew knew more places around the Nottingham area to find a decent cheap motor, than J and myself, and he kindly offered his services to come car shopping with us.

Well to cut a long story short, we had a very productive day as we havefoud J a very nice little motor that he loves, and we have learnt some tricks when buying a second car to boot. omoorow we are going to pay the deposit, i will kep you posted.

The week that was

Well what can I say, this week has been one to remember! I have been from one end of the country to the other, all for a bit of dosh!. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but this week has been a grooler. I have felt like shit all week, i think I have been on a slow recovery from the weekend that was in Ullswater, I seem to be dropping to sleep at every oppertunity.

My highlight has got to be earlier today whilst talking to my favorite stutterer in the whole world, and for those of you that know me, you know who I mean.... I had to try my hardest not to burst out laughing, because all i could think about was Per p p p Per Per eter Brow ow ow ow ow nnnn and all the laughs we have had over the last few months.

Anyway i will keep you posted on the events over the weekend, because I have got a strange feeling that it is going to be a good one. Bye Bye from me, and Bye Bye from me......

Ullswater was a wet

Well hllo again peeps, what can i say, well last weekend we went camping!!! thats right CAMPING!!!! now for those of you that know me and my friends, you may think that this would be a complete disaster from start to finish!!!! and well you would be right lol.....
We arrived at Parkfoot Campsite (on the edge of Ullswater, Lake district) on Friday the 25th of August, and we set about erecting camp..... This was where the fun started, to begin with Ady had bought a new tent, well i said tent, but what i meant to say was a mansion made of canvas!!! i think at one point there were 7 or 8 people trying to get this thing up and we were bloody struggling.Needless to say the weekend only got worse with the more ale drunk and more knackered we all got. below is a photo of (from left to right) Laura, Jozza, Tracy and Shaun. Posted by Picasa
